Anchor hooks bring together the embedment strength of a standard anchor bolt with a forged hook or eye loop, allowing services such as cable trays, conduits, ductwork and pipework to be suspended or tied back directly to a concrete structure without an intermediate bracket.
Hyrax Fasteners forges each hook from a single continuous bar — never welded — so the load path through the bend carries the full strength of the parent material. The hook radius is controlled to prevent stress concentration, and the threaded leg is rolled to accept standard hex nuts, eye nuts or turnbuckles for fine height adjustment on site.
These anchor hooks are widely specified by MEP contractors, steel fabricators and EPC companies for cable tray hangers, pipe rod suspension, scaffolding tie-backs and temporary bracing of structural elements during erection. Finishes range from electro-galvanizing for indoor service runs to hot-dip galvanizing for plant areas exposed to weather and chemical fumes.
