Pin type fasteners — also known as drive pin anchors or hammer-set anchors — consist of an expansion sleeve and a hardened steel pin that is driven flush in a single operation, expanding the sleeve against the walls of a pre-drilled hole to create an immediate mechanical lock.
Hyrax Fasteners produces these anchors with zinc-plated carbon steel sleeves and case-hardened pins for high shear and pull-out resistance, even in light-duty concrete and hollow block applications. The flush-fitting head leaves a clean finish for cable clips, conduit straps, skirting, frames and signage installations.
